David Hannibal & Kristina Finn
San Francisco Bay Area
David Hannibal (co-founder of Haunted by Waters and Samsara's Edge) and Kristina Finn have been collaborating on musical ideas for many years, blending rock, blues, jazz, pop, new age electronic and swamp funk into creations uniquely their own.
Smooth, edgy, atmospheric, and bitter-sweet — the music of Hannibal Finn is hard to fit into a single category. Their debut album No Longer There showcases this breadth: from the hypnotic groove of Orleans to the delicate introspection of Suddenly, each track occupies its own emotional universe.
Co-founder of Haunted by Waters and Samsara's Edge. Has worked with E-mu Systems, Oberheim, Q-up Arts. Sampling work heard on XTC, Fishbone recordings and major films including Batman and Bram Stoker's Dracula. Composer of the soundtrack for Roy Finch's feature film Follow Me Home.
Sang in cafes in NYC and Santa Cruz with partner Doug Ross (guitarist/singer-songwriter who toured as opening act for America and jammed regularly with Al Jarreau in LA, represented by John Hammond Sr.)
